About

Lawyers can best represent their clients if they have experience on both sides of a case.  A good attorney also must have a record of success at all levels of litigation and be willing to take a case to trial.  More importantly, lawyers are at their best when they get to know their clients personally and care about their results.
This philosophy makes up the core of founding partner Cory Broadbent’s experience as an attorney.  He has worked on both sides of accident and real estate cases.  He has a record of success at all levels of litigation and is willing to take cases to trial.  He also knows his clients personally, and cares about their results.  This is why Broadbent Law is different and why we can provide such a different experience for you.

Let us show you how the relationship with your attorney should be.

Attorney Bio

THE QUICK FACTS:

Founding Partner Cory Broadbent was born and raised in Utah County.  He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2001.  He graduated from Arizona State University: Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2005, one of the best public law schools in the nation.  He was a member of the moot court and trial teams and a Center Scholar in the College of Law’s prestigious Law, Science, and Technology Center, the national leader in analysis between law and technology.

Mr. Broadbent practiced for the last six years at large firms in Phoenix, Arizona, including Jones Skelton & Hochuli and Beus Gilbert PLLC.  While at those firms, he specialized in accident and injury cases and high-level real estate litigation.  During the course of his career, Mr. Broadbent has worked for both insurance companies and injured individuals — giving him unique insight on both sides of injury cases.  He also spent considerable time working with property owners and developers on some of the most complex real estate developments and litigation in the western United States.

WHAT THIS MEANS TO YOU:

Because of Mr. Broadbent’s wide range of experience, you get a attorney who has big firm experience and expertise–but who has chosen to apply it in a more personalized way.  You get an approach and solutions that are designed for you–rather than just being pushed through a system with little to no interaction with your actual lawyer.  At Broadbent Law, this is how we are different. We are a small by choice.   What this means for you is that you get the efficiency of a boutique law firm that is highly specialized in the area of your case–without giving up the resources of a larger firm.  Let us put our experience to work for you.

How We're Different

We are different from the ground up, by choice.  We are a nimble boutique law firm, able to adapt to your case and challenges efficiently.  We specialize.  We don’t want to be mediocre at every area of law.  Instead, we have chosen to focus on specific areas – to provide you the best possible service in the most efficient way possible. We have adopted streamlined approaches to your case and utilize the latest technology.  This allows us to win your case and save costs on wasteful overhead and antiquated legal processes.

We have “both sides of the table” experience in personal injury cases.  We have represented both plaintiffs and insurance companies and know how insurance companies evaluate injury claims.  We have also real estate experience in putting transactions together, and pursuing litigation when they fall apart.  This “both sides of the table” experience allows us to see your unique circumstances from all angles and provide comprehensive advice.

We are concerned about you and your case—start to finish.  Unlike other law firms, our attorneys handle cases personally.  We are invested in you and your situation, and will work to secure the best outcome for your unique circumstance, whether that is settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial. “The best outcome” is unique to your situation.

We focus on working with you on a personal level.  We are lawyers who think and speak like humans.  While our experience warrants respect, our approach is personal rather than reliant on legalese.  At Broadbent Law, we are different by choice.
